NYSE migration continues right on track
On January 25th, 2007, Clerity hosted the first of a three-part webinar series that follows Francis Feldman, Vice President, Shared Data Center at the Securities Industry Automation Corporation (now part of the NYSE Group) and his team, as they migrate off a 1600 MIPS mainframe system with the assistance from Clerity.
On Monday, May 14th, the NYSE Group successfully cutover its first group of rehosted applications into production. Read additional details on this project as covered in Searchdatacenter.com.
UniKixTM 3270 Pathway Software Terminal Connection Pooling Whitepaper
UniKix 3270 Pathway technology provides a rapid, intuitive way to navigate through a variety of 3270 screens, inputting and extracting data where necessary. With UniKix 3270 Pathway software, Java-based applications can be rapidly

When dealing with a large number of concurrent connection attempts, connection pooling techniques can be used to improve performance. This new paper examines 3270 terminal connection pooling techniques by working through a typical example for creating an effective connection pooling infrastructure.

IRI now shipping CoSort V9
Innovative Routines International (IRI)'s CoSort package has been a long standing part of Clerity's Mainframe Rehosting Reference Architecture and is deployed by many Clerity customers to handle VSAM file processing, data type (e.g. EBCDIC to ASCII, Packed to Numeric) conversions, and z/OS and VSE sort parameter translators. IRI recently released CoSort Version 9 for Unix, Linux and Windows. Upgrades to CoSort make Version 9 a single-pass platform for manipulating and managing large volumes of data, and a suite of solutions for: data transformation, reporting, security, conversion, governance; and, for speeding and testing applications.
