When several divisions of the DRV assessed their current and future operational costs in light of Agenda 2010 requirements, the annual software licensing fees on z/OS became a clear target for cost reduction. After evaluating alternatives, DRV Baden-Württemberg, DRV Hessen, DRV Saarland, and DRV KBS decided to work together to rehost their pension application to UniKix Transaction Processing Environment (UniKix TPE) software from Clerity.
